Servosity Announces New DR Server with Hyper-V Instant Recovery

Servosity, Disaster Recovery for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), today announces their newest version of Servosity DR Server featuring Hyper-V Instant Recovery.

Servosity DR Server is the easiest way for MSPs to protect clients’ Windows or Linux servers from potential business interruptions. DR Server allows you protect data On-Premise, in Microsoft Azure, or any other major Cloud Provider. DR Server includes Servosity’s unique technology as well as StorageCraft’s ShadowProtect SPX software. With the new release, we now support Instant Recovery directly into Hyper-V.

"Servosity DR Server now allows for the recovery of a server in an enterprise class environment. This new functionality means the recovery of a server in minutes and supports Live Migration, Advanced Networking, Clustering and more through the Hyper-V environment," said Damien Stevens, Founder & CEO, Servosity. “MSPs require one product that can work across a variety of environments, while allowing them to instantly recover into Microsoft Hyper-V. We built Servosity DR Server specifically for MSPs to centrally manage all clients, both On-premise and Cloud, through our multi-tenant and brandable web portal. This allows MSPs to setup optional self-service access for their clients. Our single pane of glass with no appliance required makes DR Server the easiest way to setup, monitor, and manage Servers for MSPs.”

“Servosity has always been an early adopter of StorageCraft technology,” said Curt James, StorageCraft’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “The Servosity team is innovative, and we’re pleased to have them leverage ShadowProtect SPX and VirtualBoot for Hyper-V, making their DR Server offering for MSPs more robust, more functional and faster.”

Servosity releases two new cloud based disaster recovery solutions. These online backup services meet or exceed each of the 25 key indicators of tier one disaster recovery services.

Servosity, provider of Backup and Disaster Recovery for MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and IT Resellers, announced today DR Server and DR Desktop. DR Server and DR Desktop are Disaster Recovery solutions that allow you to perform a Bare Metal Recovery to dis-similar physical hardware or recover VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines.

DR Desktop is designed for computers running desktop operating systems and DR Server is designed for server operating systems. Both provide the ability to backup physical and virtual machines and recover to any physical or virtual machine. Prior to the release of DR Desktop and DR Server, Disaster Recovery was too costly and/or too complex for MSPs and IT Resellers serving small and midsize businesses. Now they have a simple and cost-effective solution that not only works on Physical Machines, but works with VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and more. With no hardware required, and pay as you go pricing, the cost and capital barrier to entry is removed for small and midsize businesses.
